Well, I'm "due" in 4 days and still pregnant. Now you all know that those "due dates" don't actually mean a thing - it's just an estimate after all. With the holidays and finances and whatnot - my usual gigantic 'to-do' list - I'm hoping to keep the little bugger inside until the 19th. Ten extra days, that's all I ask for!

I have had a productive last few weeks. I've gotten out my last orders for the year and organized all my products and supplies to have them put away for now. Hopefully it won't take me too long to get back into the swing of things after the holidays.

I've done another craft fair since I posted last and that went well, plus I have lots of goodies in a local area gift shop. I've got one more delivery to make there and one more custom order to deliver and then I'm just concentrating on me!

I'm trying desperately to finish some of the projects I started for Christmas presents, which is why I need those 10 extra days as well as for the paycheck and the timing. I did finally finish the 2nd blanket for my twin nieces who were born last February. (Sadly, you can find a picture of the first one in the archives dating all the way back to January of this year!) Did I mention last time that I had started another outside-of-the-home job too?

This past weekend, I think I was making the hubby nervous. I put together a baby swing, car seat and bouncy seat and got all of the clothes folded and organized and in the dresser. I gathered the home-birth supplies that were in the house into one area and put them in the bedroom. I'm expecting more tonight - Brown is bringing it. That will be the majority of it and then I've just got to gather a few more items from the store and line my steel pots w/ trash bags to catch all of the less sanitary and attractive parts of birthing.

Frankly all that nesting is making me nervous too - not just Mike. I really, REALLY want 2 more weeks before baby comes!! I know that you can't tell them what to do, but I'm a big believer in the power of a forceful will, and I'm going to just will my body to not launch into action before I give it permission to do so!! Just as soon as I get home from work on the 16th, I will unleash it!

Now you are all giggling, but you wait and see - I'm a stubborn one!!
