Union Avenue

Today my friends, my first package is off to Pueblo, Colorado to the Union Avenue Fiber & Art Gallery, LLC. If you are in that area, or traveling through, they are located at 130 S. Union Avenue and can be reached at (719) 583-0183.

Here is a "group picture" of what I'm sending:

An assortment of my yarns

I've been keeping very busy! I'm also dyeing up some blue-face Leicester top in some beautiful shades to add to the web-site which I've finally gotten around to doing some updates on. There just isn't enough of me to go around!! The handpainted tops will start going on the site tomorrow - go take a look tomorrow evening and check it out!

I'm beginning to think that I'm going to have to recruit spinners and take consignments to fulfill all my obligations!!

Definitely Bigger the Fourth Time

Here's a new belly shot to show progress on my 'biggest' project at the moment. Gee whiz, I didn't show like this until my 5th or 6th month during my first pregnancy!! This is at 15 weeks:

A week and a half ago, I was contacted by a woman who is an art gallery owner in Pueblo, Colorado. A good portion of her gallery - located in a historic building in the Pueblo historic district - is devoted to the textile and fiber arts. Is that not cool or what? But there's more - guess what else??

She invited ME to display and sell my handpainted and handspun yarns in her gallery!!! Can you even believe it?? I'm fairly stunned myself!

So, right now I'm working on some very special and funky yarns to send off to Pueblo. I'll be sure and show you a picture of what I'm sending before it goes out… I'll also tell you the name of this gallery once the package is on the way there!

I still can't believe it!
